This is a lovely rare newspaper titled "The Jane Austen Years", it looks at Jane Austen's life and her various novels etc. There is also reference made to Colin Firth as Mr Darcy in the BBC adaptation of Jane Austen's novel - "Pride & Prejudice" in this newspaper. There are two nice pictures taken from this tv production, a small one on the front of the newspaper and a larger picture of the wedding on the back of the newspaper.

This newspaper is dated the 2nd of June 2003, in this newspaper there is a half page article about the various polls which have been carried out by some companies, it is titled "Dinner with Darcy is women's dream date". There is a lovely pic of Colin Firth dressed up as Mr Darcy with this article.This article talks about how Colin Firth as Mr Darcy topped the various polls which took place. I only have a limited number of copies of this newspaper so buy it now to avoid missing out on it.

This is a rare newspaper titled the "Daily Mail", it is dated the 14th of September 2004. Within this newspaper is a large 3/4 page feature about the new "Bridget Jones's Diary" film titled "So, Bridget, will it be dull Darcy or dastardly Daniel?". There are three photos with this article that have been taken from the new film inc one of Colin Firth and Renee Zellweger getting close as Mark Darcy and Bridget Jones. This article talks about the new film and how the ending will not be revealed until the film hits the cinemas and how there is no point trying to find out what happens by reading the sequel by Helen Fielding as there are many differences between the book and the film.
